High Winds Damage Roof at Tulsa Airport

Crews are cleaning up at Tulsa International Airport after high winds damaged parts of the building overnight.

According to officials, half of the northside security checkpoint roof was blown off, revealing foam insulation and leaking as it rained.

Crews plan to seal up the roof short-term and will have a contractor come to assess the damage and work on a long-term repair.

Two delayed flights are unrelated to Tulsa's weather event.
