Highway 75 Wreck Shuts Down Traffic Near Apache

Emergency officials were on the scene of a multi-vehicle wreck Monday morning on Highway 75.

Few details were available but officials at the scene were sent to the area after 9 a.m. near Highway 75 south of Apache.

KTUL learned that a City of Skiatook trash truck reportedly crashed into a semi-truck as it was traveling south on 75. No exact information has been given on the cause of the wreck but Tulsa roads were on "slick-streets" at the time of the wreck.

Information on injuries has not been released at this time. Officials with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation closed off the area to traffic to clear up the debris from the wreck.

Motorists were advised to seek an alternate route.
