Hit and Run Suspect Arrested on Public Intoxication Complaint
The suspect charged in a felony hit and run that injured a high school cross country runner has been arrested for public intoxication.
Broken Arrow police say they arrested 18-year-old Jordan Hunter outside a restaurant Saturday.
A witness called Broken Arrow police to Buffalo Wild Wings to report a man acting suspicious and smelling of alcohol.
Officers said in they found a 30 pack of beer with several beer cans open and crushed in the back of Hunter's truck.
"At that point Mr. Hunter did admit to consuming alcohol," Cpl. Leon Calhoun said. "He was then arrested for public intoxication.
Broken Arrow police say Hunter has had two other incidents involving alcohol.
Hunter is currently charged with a felony hit and run that left 15-year-old cross country runner Logan Henry in the ICU with a broken leg and pelvis.
