Hmong Shooting: Suspects Due for Court Hearing

Two men accused of shooting five people at a Hmong New Year's festival are due before a Tulsa courtroom

Boonmlee Lee and Meng Lee are scheduled for preliminary hearings Tuesday morning in a Tulsa courtroom. Both have pleaded not guilty to their counts of shooting with intent to kill.

According to previous reports from KTUL, both men were taken into custody in October for reportedly taking part in a shooting during a Hmong celebration at the Green Country Event Center.

Tulsa authorities also announced back in October that a search warrant was executed at both suspect's homes. Three fire arms and gang paraphernalia were recovered.
