Osage County authorities are investigating the scene of a break-in early Thursday morning that resulted in the death of a juvenile.A spokesperson with the Osage County Sheriff's Office stated that around 1 a.m. Thursday deputies responded to a residence in Hominy. This was after a caller notified 911 and advised that a man was attempted to break into her home."He had broken the glass out of the door of her residence and was trying to gain access inside." "A juvenile who lives at this location retrieved a gun and fired shots from inside the residence in the direction of the entry door," according to a release from the OCSO.Both parties involved in the shooting are juveniles. One juvenile was shot and transported to the Cleveland Hospital where he was pronounced dead.Investigators are now continuing to work this shooting and will submit the case to the District Attorney's Office for review.Further information will be available as it's revealed.
