This week will go down as the wettest week of the year, so far. Most of the area picked up a good deal of rainfall, with most areas receiving between 1"-3" of rain.
It appears that a warming and drying trend will commence late this weekend into next week. With the recent rain, most of the area should begin to experience some very humid conditions. Typically, June is one of the most humid months for Eastern Oklahoma, and it will definitely start that way.
The long range data is trending more towards a drier weather pattern. Hopefully, we can get some more rain into the region before the July heat builds.
