The Humane Society of Tulsa is running a month-long special on cat adoptions. They will waive the adoption fees for adult cats in exchange for a bag of cat litter. It's part of their Fall Feline Frenzy, which coincides with National Cat Day Tuesday. The shelter is crowded with cats due to mild winter weather and a lack of spaying and neutering."It's so unfortunate adult cats are harder to adopt because they're great animals," says Evan Fadem, manager of the Tulsa Humane Society. "Kittens eventually grow up to be adult cats. They want to go home too and they're great, great pets."Experts say to keep all pets inside on Halloween, but especially black cats to avoid animal abuse. If you are interested in adopting, you can contact the shelter at 918-495-3647 or visit http://www.tulsapets.com/
