PSO reports there were still nearly 800 customers without electricity in the Bartlesville area early Wednesday morning.
The company says crews were working around the clock after a strong thunderstorm that hit the city late Monday night brought down power lines and trees.
PSO said Tuesday night that repairs on the northwest side of town will take time because of the heavy damage there. It expects nearly 800 customers in that area may not have electricity restored until Thursday evening.
Crews have had to replace at least 40 power poles and 60 cross arms.
At the height of the Labor Day storm, nearly 11,000 customers lost power.
