Authorities are investigating following a fatal mobile home fire overnight in Park Hill.Robert Doke with the State Fire Marshal's office said there were eight people living inside the mobile home, located on Keeler Drive near the Cherokee Nation Heritage Center in a mobile home park.Four people inside the home did not survive. The victims were identified as two adult females, one adult male and a 3-year-old boy. The remaining four in the home escaped.One neighbor said he heard a boom, and then heard someone shouting about a child being inside the burning home. The neighbor told KTUL he tried to save the child but the flames were too strong.Authorities say the child's mother lives in a different trailer than where the fire was located.Authorities are investigating the incident and the cause is currently unknown. Neighbors suggested there was charring in the kitchen. The fire began at approximately 2:15 a.m.The fire marshal's office has been interviewing people including a 14 year old girl who escape the fire . Terry Ferrel, State Fire Marshal Investigator says, "she indicated that she was awakened the smell of smoke that it looked like it was coming from the hallway area ." The state fire marshal's office says the fire started in the bedroom where the victims were but the cause of the fire is still undetermined. The Cherokee County Drug Task Force confirmed it was called to the mobile home 3 times in the past. But there's no indication that drugs were involved. Farrell adds "this is a heartbreaking situation. There are four lives that were lost we are waiting for a toxicology report from the medical examiner's office. I have collected wiring out of it to have that looked at."Those who were killed in this fire are identified as Connie Pitchett, Becky Hooper, Frosty Chase and 3 year old Jeremiah Henson.
