      Investigators Arrest One and Search for Second Suspect in Adair County Homicide

      27-Year-Old Janice Manken

      An Adair County homicide investigation leads to the arrest of one female suspect and the search for a male suspect. The alleged homicide of 71-year-old Wayne Lee Wennerholm inside his home has been underway since Sunday, July 13.

      OSBI agents arrested Wennerholm's daughter, 27-year-old Janice Manken, for accessory to murder. The arrest reportedly took place, Monday night at the Westville Police Department and officials booked her into the Adair County jail.

      A murder warrant has reportedly been issued for her husband, 40-year-old James Douglas Manken. Manken was reportedly in Gentry, Arkansas, Monday. He could possibly be on his way to Southwest City, Missouri.

      Sunday, July 13th, a neighbor found Wennerholm dead inside his home at North 4735 Road in Watts. The Adair County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI assistance in the case. If you know where to locate Manken, please call OSBI at 1.800.522.8017.
