Investigators: Slain Oklahoma Woman Was Pregnant

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Investigators say a slain suburban OklahomaCity woman whose body was found in the woods nearly a month aftershe disappeared was pregnant at the time of her death. Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said Wednesday theMedical Examiner's Office had confirmed that 25-year-old JaymieAdams of Blanchard was pregnant when she disappeared last month.Wardlow says the cause of Adams' death is still underinvestigation. Adams' body was found Saturday along a bike trail near LakeStanley Draper. Her husband, Justin Adams, reported his wifemissing on Dec. 10 Wardlow says investigators have no suspects in the woman'sdeath. But an attorney for Justin Adams says police have told hisclient he is a suspect. Attorney Irven Box says Adams had nothingto do with his wife's death.
