Wooden Rectangles (can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby)PencilFine Tip Paint BrushCraft Paint in a color of your choiceCraft Paints in Black and in white
Sketch the facet lines on the wooden rectangle as shown on the guide. It doesn't have to be perfect.
Mix up the craft paint as shown on the guide (you'll need a total of 6 pods of paint - in the first mix 2 parts white, to 1 part color, in the second mix 1 part white to 1 part color, in the third do just 1 part color, in the fourth mix 1 part black to 1 part color, in the fifth mix 2 parts black to 1 part color, in the sixth mix 3 parts black to 1 part color). Keep in mind that the black paint goes further mixed than the white.
Use the fine tip brush to carefully paint inside the sketched facet lines. Start with the mid-tone in the middle and the lightest shade all the way to the left. Work your way around getting to your darkest mix last. Use the guide to help "color by number". You can also paint the back and edges in the mid-tone color.
Let dry and create! You can make them into a necklace, earrings, use a favor, as gift wrapping, keychains, napkins, etc.
