Voters across Green County are headed to the polls Tuesday to decide on several issues.
Elections are being held for issues ranging from school bonds to sales tax extensions. Tulsa, Creek and Pittsburg Counties are just three of them voting Tuesday.
Here in Tulsa County, one of the decisions residents are voting on is whether to expand the county jail and the juvenile justice center. An extension to the current sales tax would help fund the improvements, according to the proposition's website.
Previous reports from KTUL state that initiative will reportedly not increase the tax rate within the City of Tulsa. However, towns outside of Tulsa might notice a slight increase.
And in other areas of in eastern Oklahoma voters are deciding on improvements in the city of Krebs, a bond vote for McAlester Public Schools and two propositions for Owasso Public Schools. Here are few others:
