James Harden Cleared To Play

The Oklahoma City Thunder got some good news Wednesday as guard James Harden has been cleared to play following Sunday's concussion suffered against the Los Angeles Lakers.Harden suffered a severe blow to the head from an elbow by the Lakers' Metta World Peace -- a hit that Peace was ejected from the game and has since been suspended seven games for.Harden did not play in Oklahoma City's 106-101 loss at home to Denver Wednesday night, a meaningless game in which the Thunder didn't need him. Thunder head coach Scott Brooks says Harden should be "fine for the playoffs", which begin this weekend.Harden is a leading contender for the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year. The second-year player from Arizona State is averaging 16.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
