Jobs Coming To Enid At New Fertilizer Plant

New jobs will be coming to Enid, Okla. after a new fertilizer plant is built.

Kansas-based Koch Industries says it will build the plant at its Nitrogen Facility there. The company plans to invest $1 billion and will increase fertilizer production by more than one million tons per year.

Officials plan to start production during the fourth quarter of 2014 and be up and running by 2016.

Koch estimates the project will bring 500 to 600 construction jobs to the area. It also expects to hire 20 to 30 new employees for the plant.
