Kiefer Police and Fire Departments Blood Drive

KIEFER, OK - The Kiefer Police and Fire Departments are joining together for the "Guns and Hoses" blood drive for the Oklahoma Blood Institute on August 2nd. It will take place at the Kiefer Fire Station located next to City Hall.

They are encouraging donors to come out and help save up to three lives, per their donation and receive a "Guns and Hoses" T-Shirt and a voucher, redeemable for two admission tickets to the Tulsa Zoo.

"I hope I see a lot of 'Guns and Hoses' T-Shirts at the zoo this year," said Chief of Police Johnny O'Mara. "It's a tremendous way of giving back to any community and a useful way to help out for your friends and neighbors when they need it most."

Anyone who is healthy and 16-years-old can donate. You can make a donation every 56 days.

The Oklahoma Blood Institute is America's ninth-largest non-profit blood center and provides every drop of blood needed by patients in more than 150 medial facilities right here in Oklahoma.

Donors can call the Oklahoma Blood Institute at 877.340.8777 to schedule an appointment or get additional details.
