Lights On Ceremony Tonight At Rhema

One of the largest Christmas lighting displays in Oklahoma will begin shining as the flip is switched at Rhema Bible College tonight in east Tulsa.This year, there are more than two MILLION lights that will illuminate the campus, located in Broken Arrow along Kenosha Street (71st Street) between Aspen Ave. (145th East Ave.) and Elm Place (161st East Ave.).The centerpiece -- the Rhema Park Bridge -- will have 90-thousand lights by itself and will be synchronized to Christmas music.The lights will be on from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. from November 24th through New Year's Day. The display is expected to draw more than 200-thousand visitors this year.The lighting display at Rhema was first begun in 1982. Back then, there were ONLY 60-thousand lights.
