Locally Owned Restaurants Heading to Broken Arrow
There is new development coming to Broken Arrow with two locally owned restaurants expanding into the area.
Full Moon Cafe and In the Raw will be opening up in the spring. The Full Moon Cafe president isn't worried about competing with his other location.
"The Cherry Street location, maybe if you live in Broken Arrow, just isn't as convenient," says Tony Henry, President Full Moon Cafe, "I really think we will get different folks. I did a little informal polling, I have a lot of friends that live in this part of Broken Arrow and they are looking for something that has a late night option."
Broken Arrow residents are excited about being able to live, work, and eat in the same city.
"Everything we do is here. So, it's nice to see the variety of restaurants coming in. Gives us more variety and opportunity to stay here instead of having to drive," says Broken Arrow resident, Carolyn Harger.
Henry says that when opening a second location, location is key.
"It's just right off the Broken Arrow Expressway, right off of Elm, very close to the Bass Pro Shops which the traffic counts here are just amazing," says Henry.
Full Moon Cafe is expect to open near the Bass Pro Shops in March. In the Raw is expect to open in downtown Broken Arrow in May.
