A Sand Springs man is in custody accused of making meth with his elderly father and young son nearby.
Jack Lee Evans, 56, was arrested on numerous complaints Monday afternoon including meth manufacture, child endangerment and caretaker abuse.
According to arrest documents, Sand Springs police found Evans and another person making meth in the garage of a home near 1200 Eucha Creek Place.
Evans admitted to being the full-time caregiver of his father and young son, who were both living in the house, the documents state.
Police found a working meth lab in the garage along with all the tools and ingredients usually found in meth lab scenes. The chemical odor coming from the house was so strong, officers smelled it 20 feet away in the front yard.
Evans is currently held in the Tulsa County jail on more than $75,000 bond.
