Man Allegedly Admits to Stabbing Neighbor
An argument ended with knife wounds last night in South Tulsa. According to an initial police report,18-year-old Deandre Chippis was arrested after calling 9-1-1 to report a stabbing he had just committed. He says his neighbor started calling him names and challenging him to fight. Chippis grabbed his pocket knife, left his home and continued the argument. Both Chippis and the victim stated the neighbor slapped Chippis and then he stabbed the victim.Chippis left the scene and threw the knife out of the car on the Broken Arrow Expressway. He was later instructed by dispatch to pull over and officers located him which led to the arrest.He was transported and booked in Tulsa County Jail following the incident.
