A Tulsa man is charged with killing a young boy with his car.
Abraham McDavid, 41, of Tulsa was arrested late Sunday on warrants.
He's charged with first degree manslaughter and accused of hitting a 11-year-old boy in late-October 2011.
According to court documents obtained by KTUL.com, police claim McDavid was driving near 4700 S. Union Avenue and hit the boy.
The child was on a skateboard at the time. Court records aren't clear on whether the boy was in the road or on a sidewalk. The documents also allege McDavid was driving despite a suspended license.
He is being held in the Tulsa County jail on more than $17,000 dollars in bond.
Court records show McDavid has numerous prior convictions in felony drug and weapons cases. State jail records show he was released on parole in one of the cases.
