A first degree murder charge was filed Monday for a man accused of a murder in west Tulsa last month. State prosecutors filed the charge against Ronnie Haskins. Officers stated he's responsible for the death of Zachary Montgomery found dead on Aug. 31. According to previous reports, Tulsa Police found Montgomery inside a home near 61st St. W. and Charles Page Boulevard from several wounds.
Police believed there was a struggle inside the home and identified Haskins as a suspect. Detectives then tracked Haskins to a trailer home and arrested him for first degree murder.
In addition to the murder charge, Haskins faces a possession of a firearm charge.
