Man Robbed, Woman Beaten in East Tulsa Armed Robbery

Police are investigating after a man and a woman were attacked during an armed robbery early Friday morning.

Officers were called just after 1 a.m. to the Tower Cross Apartments after receiving word that two individuals had been attacked and robbed. This is near 44th and Highway 169.

Authorities told KTUL that two men, one armed with a handgun, punched the woman in the face and ordered the man to take off his pants and leave the wallet in the pocket. He complied with the suspects and they proceeded to leave the scene.

Paramedics stated that the male wasn't hurt and that the woman refused treatment for her injuries. Their identities were not released.
