Medical Marijuana Petition Today at State Capitol

A group that's trying to get the medical marijuana issue on the November ballot plans to rally at the State Capitol later today.

Organizers for "Oklahomans for Health" plan to leave Tulsa at 9 a.m. headed for Oklahoma City. They expect thousands of people to show up to urge state lawmakers to let Oklahoma vote on the issue.

During the rally, they'll gather more signatures for their petition and turn them in to Oklahoma secretary of state, Chris Benge, this afternoon.

Governor Mary Fallin says she supports using the oil from the cannabis plant to treat children.
