Michigan Man Back in Jail for Reported Similar Offense at Tulsa Park
A Michigan man is behind bars again this week for committing another crime at a north Tulsa park.
Tulsa Police arrested Nathan Weiss on one complaint of rape by force or fear. He was taken into custody near Springdale Park on East Pine Street.
Officers stated that Weiss was taken into custody after he reportedly approached a 19-year-old woman at the park and began touching her. She told him to stop and he walked away.
"[Weiss] returned and grabbed the victim by the arms, then dragged her near a concrete wall where he sexually assaulted her," a statement went on to describe. He walked away from the park following the crime.
Sex Crimes Detectives determined that Weiss was the same suspect who was arrested for touching another woman at the same park just four days before the most recent incident. He bonded out of jail, according to the statement from TPD. Weiss was taken into custody and transported to the Tulsa County Jail. He is being held without bond.
