Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy announced he signed two junior college players Wednesday.
They are Brandon Garrett from Trinity Valley Community College is an offensive lineman and Arizona Western Community College defensive end Sam Wren.
Both are enrolled at OSU and will be with the Cowboys for the spring semester.
"We certainly need some defensive ends because we're graduating three good players and we need someone who can come in and impact us right away and we feel Sam Wren can give us that," Gundy said. "The same thing on the other side of the ball - we need some impact at offensive line. We've got to have guys that can come in and start the season at least as a backup and then work in as they pick up the system. That's really what you're looking for in these two-year guys.
"Brandon Garrett is getting bigger and stronger and really should be able to help us in our run game and in the pass, because he's got good feet. Wren, we're expecting him to be a third-down pass rush guy to start until he gets going."
