A toddler is under the care of the Department of Human Services Monday after being found walking alone in a north Tulsa neighborhood.
Police were made aware of the incident around 10 a.m. after receiving word that a three-year-old was missing from a residence in the 2000 block of East Haskell.
At the residence a woman told officers that she came home and found the child was gone and a door leading outside was open. She stated that the child's father was asleep on the couch at the time.
Officers canvassed the area for the child and were notified that a woman had discovered the child walking barefoot near the 600 block of North Utica. She was found uninjured.
