A mobile consulate will set-up shop in Tulsa for a week to help immigrants with documents.
The Mexican Consulate is staffed by six members and will spend one week in Tulsa and a week in Oklahoma City.
The project was created to help process passports and registration documents for the Mexican community. Approximately 130 people will be seen each day the consulate is open.
Mexican's who live in Oklahoma normally have to drive to the consulate in Little Rock, but the mobile consulate hopes this will alleviate any problems.
An appointment is necessary to attend the mobile consulate as well as the consulate in Little Rock. People may make an appointment by calling the MEXITEL line at 1-877-639-4835.
