A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at an area hospital Tuesday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle in midtown Tulsa.
Officials with the Tulsa Fire Department and Tulsa Police Department responded to the 200 block of S. Harvard around 1:30 p.m. in reference to a wreck between a motorcycle and car.
According to an officer at the scene, medical responders transported the motorcyclist to a hospital where he was pronounced dead around 2:15 p.m.
It is believed that the car and motorcycle were traveling opposite directions on Harvard Avenue when the car made a left-hand turn hitting the motorcyclist.
Police have yet to release the identity of the motorcyclist who died.
