A Muldrow woman was booked into a Louisiana jail earlier this week for reportedly sexually trafficking a 16-year-old girl.
Authorities in Baton Rouge arrested Lindsay Lovell along with Victor Medlock and booked them on a trafficking of a child for sexual purposes complaint. Both were taken into custody after a 16-year-old Oklahoma girl was found performing sexual acts for money in a hotel room last weekend.
Court records indicate that officers responded to a Holiday Inn after receiving a call from a family member of the young girl. At the scene they discovered Lovell, Medlock and the girl in the room.
Officers allege that the girl was an acquaintance of Lovell and took a Greyhound bus from Arkansas to Baton Rouge. She was then convinced by both adults to perform sexual acts for money, according to a report from Channel 8's sister station, WBRZ.
An affidavit states that officers also found Lovell's newborn child in the room at the time of the incident.
Lovell and Medlock were given additional charges ranging from contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile to possession of marijuana. Both remain in the jail.
