A grass fire that burned in the Collinsville area was under control early Wednesday morning.
Multiple fire departments battled the blaze east of Highway 75 and north of Highway 20. Flames and smoke could be seen from areas of northeast Tulsa.
At the scene officials attempted to fight the fire before it got any closer to homes in the area. A back burn process was begun to bring the fire under control.
No homes were damaged and there were no reported of injuries.
Crews from the Owasso, Collinsville and Skiatook Fire Departments responded to the scene.
