Muskogee Police Officers Take Free Class

Several members of the Muskogee Police Department are now certified traffic accident officers, which will help them better reconstruct traffic accidents.

Muskogee officers took a free class in November and January taught by the Oklahoma City Police Department regarding advanced accident investigation and another class dedicated to traffic reconstruction school.

All of this stems from a fatal traffic accident last June in which Muskogee PD had to rely on the Oklahoma Highway Patrol because no one was certified.

Accident photography class and vehicle pedestrian accident class are still to be taken by MPD.

The certified Muskogee officers are Jeremy Jenkins, Alan Bemo, Taylor Reeves and Corporal Abel.
