Lockdown Lifted After Nathan Hale Student Brings Bullets to School

Tulsa Public School officials lifted a lockdown at Nathan Hale High School after a student brought bullets to school Friday morning.

According to TPS officials, the student brought bullets to the school and had been passing them out as Christmas gifts. Faculty received word of the incident just after 11:15 a.m.

TPS police searched the school and recovered 10 bullets and found no firearm. School officials also announced that the student will face consequences pending investigation by the campus police.

The school is located at 21st and Sheridan.
