Oklahoma City center Nazr Mohammed has signed a contract extension to keep him with the Thunder, the team announced Wednesday.Mohammed, who came to the Thunder in February after being acquired from the Charlotte Bobcats, averaged 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 24 outings, including seven starts."We are pleased to be able to keep Nazr in the Thunder family," said Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti. "He is a valuable part of our organization both on and off the floor. His professionalism, experience, and on-court play have had a positive impact on our young and evolving roster." A 13-year NBA veteran, Mohammed was originally drafted by the Utah Jazz in the first round of the 1998 NBA Draft after winning two NCAA championships at the University of Kentucky.
