A woman was transported to an area hospital Tuesday afternoon after a fire began at a midtown residence.
Fire crews responded to the residence near 41st and Yale after receiving word that a fire broke out at the home. This happened just after noon.
Officials told KTUL that neighbors in the area helped remove the individuals inside during the fire. One female and two children were inside at the time.
EMSA paramedics transported the woman in fair condition. The two children were evaluated and needed no medical assistance.
An approximate 30 firefighters with the Tulsa Fire Department helped battle the blaze. It was centered in front of the home.
No information has been given on a cause for the fire.
