A brand new bridge will open to traffic Monday in Downtown Tulsa.
Crews are putting the final touches on the Boulder Avenue railroad bridge.
The old span was built in 1929, but closed in 2001. City engineers said it wasn't even safe enough to walk on. It took another 8 years to get it demolished, which finally happened in 2009
Mayor Dewey Bartlett and other dignitaries will be on hand to dedicate the new bridge at 2:00pm.
