News Organizations File Lawsuit After Failed Execution

Two news organizations are filing a lawsuit over Oklahoma's execution procedures.

The Oklahoma Observer and the Guardian U.S. are asking a federal judge for more openness.

They want the media to be allowed to witness the entire execution process.

The lawsuit files the April 29th death of death row inmate Clayton Lockett.

The prison staff lowered a shade and blocked the view of the witnesses when his execution didn't go as planned.

The news outlets say this violated the first amendment.
