Tulsa Fire Department was at the scene of a fire Thursday morning after a man returned to his home and smelled smoke.
It happened just after 11 a.m. when TFD crews received reports of a home on fire in the 500 block of E. Woodrow Street.
Channel 8 was there and spoke with officials who told us that the homeowner returned to his residence and smelled smoke. Upon further investigation he found the attic was on fire.
The homeowner told crews that he had been experiencing electrical issues the night before.
According to TFD, the damage from the fire was contained mainly to the attic and nobody was injured. The homeowner also lives alone.
