A man is in serious condition at a Tulsa area hospital after an overnight home invasion shooting in north Tulsa.
Police were called to the residence near Apache and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd after receiving word that a man had been shot in the stomach.
At the scene officers told KTUL that the man woke up to noise coming from an area of his home. That's when a man kicked in the front door and then shot the homeowner.
Paramedics transported the man in serious condition to the hospital moments after arriving on scene. His wife and children were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
