ODOT To Dedicate Highway After Employee Killed Last Fall

A section of highway in Washington County will be dedicated after an Oklahoma Department of Transportation employee who was killed after being struck by a vehicle last November.

Ira Henderson was working for the ODOT Washington County maintenance crew when he was hit inside a work zone on US-75 near Ramona.

Family, friends and co-workers will dedicate part of the highway in his honor at the ODOT Maintenance Facility in Bartlesville, Tuesday, Sept. 25.

The dedication will begin at 10 a.m.
