Officers Arrest Son in Okfuskee County Double Homicide

Ross Holloway

Officers arrested the son of two Okfuskee County residents that were found shot and killed earlier this month at their home.

Okfuskee County Sheriff's Officers placed Ross Holloway under arrest and charged him with two counts of first degree murder. Investigators allege that Holloway shot and killed his parents Denver Holloway, 55, and Martha Holloway, 54.

According to a release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, both were found dead on March 8 inside their home six-tenths of a mile west of Boley on Highway 62 and two miles south on north-south 3660. Their bodies were discovered at the home a few days later.

During the initial investigation, OCSO officers requested the assistance of OSBI when the double homicide was reported and wounds to the couple's bodies indicated they were victims of homicide.

According to the release, officers discovered methamphetamine in Ross Holloway's bedroom. When they arrived at the scene they also found his Jeep and his mother's .22-caliber Magnum revolver were missing. A day after the murders took place, LeFlore County officers stopped Ross who admitted to smoking meth hours earlier.

During the investigation the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner determined his parents died from multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies from the Magnum revolver. He was taken back to Okfuskee County earlier this week.
