Tulsa officers are on the scene of a shooting that took place near Lewis and Apache Thursday morning.
Officers arrived in the area before noon in the 2400 block of E. Woodrow Street. This is after receiving word that an individual had been shot by another man.
KTUL has learned that the shooting happened as a result of a car deal gone wrong. It is believed that the man who shot the victim was angry after learning that he had received counterfeit money for the vehicle.
Tulsa Police Department's Leland Ashley stated that the unidentified man shot the victim in the abdomen once. When officers arrived on scene he was standing over the victim.
Officers were able to take the suspect into custody without any resistance. No identifications have been given for either individual.
