A search for human remains has resumed this week by various area officers and state agencies at a Delaware County mobile home.
Initial information states that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office are back out in Twin Oaks Wednesday morning. Both agencies are searching for possible human remains in the area near a mobile home just south of US 412.
KTUL has learned that OSBI and the medical examiner are being assisted in the search by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service. Representatives with the District Attorney's office are on scene, as well.
Officers have extended the search area outside of the mobile home they were originally searching in April. Previous reports from KTUL state that the search was called off then because nothing was discovered.
Detectives have been alerted that if human remains are eventually found they possibly belong to Dustin Carver. He has been reported missing from Kansas, Oklahoma and was last seen with James Larson.
