OHP: Speed Possible Factor In Tulsa Man's Fatal Crash

State troopers believe speed played a role in a motorcycle accident that killed a Tulsa man.

It happened around 6:15 Thursday evening just a few miles west of Locust Grove on Highway 412.

Randall Miles, 48, hit an oncoming westbound truck and was thrown from his motorcycle into a ditch.

Troopers said Miles was driving too fast eastbound on a sharp curve and went over into the opposing lane.

The pickup's driver was not hurt. Troopers said Miles was not wearing a helmet.

The Mayes County and Cherokee Turnpike detachments of OHP responded to the call.
