Oilers Lose Home Opener, 6-2

The Tulsa Oilers looked good early in its home opener against Wichita.{} Tulsa had a 2-0 lead after the first period, and a 2-1 lead heading into the third.

That's when the wheels fell off.

The Thunder rallied for five goals in the final frame, spoiling the Oilers season-opener at home 6-2.

It was no small feat by Tulsa Goalie Ian Keserich to hold Wichita to just six goals - he faced a whopping 50 shots.{} In comparison, Tulsa was only able to fire off 16 shots.

The Oilers look to get their first win of the season at the BOK Center Saturday night, when they host Texas.
