Oklahoma City Reaches Deal With Scott Brooks

The Oklahoma City Thunder have reportedly reached an agreement on a new four-year contract with their head coach Scott Brooks.

His current contract was set to expire at Midnight Saturday. {}The two sides have been trying to get a deal in place for weeks. {}Brooks and his representatives reportedly turned down a four year, $16 million deal a few days ago.

The exact number Brooks will be making is unknown, but it's expected to be more than $4 million per season.

Under Brooks' tutelage, the Thunder have made the playoffs each of the past three seasons. {}In each of those seasons, OKC advanced further in the playoffs than the previous season.

In all, Brooks has a record of 198-144 with the Thunder.
