Oklahoma Lawmakers To Consider Dozens Of Gun Bills

While President Obama is calling for further restrictions on access to guns, Oklahoma lawmakers are pushing the other direction.

More than three dozen bills have been filed in the House and Senate that would make it easier for people to carry firearms and expand where they can take them.

Several bills call for allowing guns in public school, including a measure that allows school employees with a handgun license to bring their weapon into schools.

Another proposal says the federal government has no authority to regulate firearms and calls for prison time for any federal employee who attempts to regulate guns in Oklahoma.
