Oklahoma Lawmakers To Form School Security Commission
Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb announces the formation of a panel of experts on school security to make recommendations to the Legislature on how to make schools safer.
Lt. Gov. Lamb, a former Secret Service agent, will chair the committee.
The exact makeup of the commission has not been determined, but it is expected to include members of law enforcement, emergency responders, school teachers and administrators and mental health experts.
The new legislative session begins in February.
