Oklahomans for Equality Hosts ACA Town Hall Meeting

As it stands right now, about half a million Oklahomans still need to sign-up for health insurance.It's a legal requirement under the President Obama's Affordable Care Act.The Oklahomans for Equality held a town hall meeting to provide help with those enrolling for healthcare.Dozens turned out tonight at the equality center."Here at the Equality Center to make sure that the LGBT community is educated about what the law means to them, what benefits they can get from it, the non-discrimination provisions that are in it, and make sure they get access to coverage and that they know there are ways to get it this is affordable and quality for them," the White House representative Gautam Raghavan said.Those without health insurance have until march 31st to sign up, before facing tax penalties.
