Victim Identified in Fatal North Tulsa Shooting
A shot and killed Thursday evening in north Tulsa was identified this afternoon.
Tulsa Police responded to the shooting around 7:30 p.m. at a home in the 5800 block of East Tecumseh Street. At the scene they discovered a man, later identified as Mark Masingale Jr., had been fatally shot.
"It's unbelievable really," said Tulsa city councilor David Patrick. He lives less than 100 yards away.
Charon Powell is the mother of two of the women killed in the quadruple homicide at Fairmont Terrace.
"I know the lady, right across the street from my shop," he said. "She's had lots of heartaches in her life with both of her daughters being killed," he said.
Thursday's shooting, according to police, started as domestic violence dispute at the home on east Tecumseh. Two other adults and a small child were inside of the house at the time of the shooting.
It is not known whether Powell was at home when the shooting took place. However, her grandson, who was found in the apartment with his dead mother and aunt last January, was also at the house tonight.
